West Regional Manager

Third Sky is looking for an individual with an IT Service Management background who is entrepreneurial and wants to be a key player in building a consulting company while staying connected to IT Service Management consulting.

Responsibilities

  • Grow the West Region’s consulting business by achieving specific revenue and profitability targets. A portion of the candidate’s bonus will be tied directly to the success of the region.
  • Help generate leads by driving regional events and participating in other thought-leadership activities
  • Support the sales team by providing credibility and demonstrating experience in IT Service Management during the sales process.
  • Support the identification and delivery of the right blend of Third Sky’s education, process consulting, and technology solutions service offerings to address the needs of regional clients across all phases of their ITSM adoption
  • Become a trusted advisor to clients in the region.
  • Work with the delivery teams to ensure customer satisfaction and participate in delivery of ITSM process consulting services where necessary.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow existing accounts
  • Cultivate field relationships with our partners to maximize the yield from our channel relationships
Mandatory Qualifications:
  • 4+ years experience providing ITSM / ITIL consulting
  • Experience in the management of an ITSM / ITIL consulting business
  • 2+ years experience selling ITSM / ITIL education, process consulting or technology solutions
  • Good communication skills
  • Good writing skills
  • Experienced project manager
  • Experience speaking about ITSM / ITIL best practices and implementation approaches at a local or national level
  • ITIL Foundation Certified
Desirable Qualifications
  • ITIL Service Manager or ITIL Practitioner Certification
  • Experience with one or more ITSM tools such as Axios Assyst, BMC Remedy, CA Unicenter, FrontRange ITSM, Hornbill ITSM, HP ServiceCenter or ServiceDesk, iET Solutions ITSM, Infra, Service-now.com, TouchPaper ITBM, etc.
  • Experience with COBIT or CMMI
