Senior ITSM Consultant

Third Sky is looking for a senior ITSM consultant to join our team. We are looking
for the right candidate that wants to help build a leading consulting company. Job may be
contract or permanent.
Responsibilities

Lead customers through the solution implementation process.

Assisting customers with business process design and advising customers of best
practices.

Facilitate design sessions
-
Document design
-
Implement and customize packaged software
-
Build integrations between systems
-
Data conversions
-
Unit and system testing
-
Support user testing
-
Conduct trainer and user training
-
Perform go live and post go live support.

Project management
Requirements
- Certified in ITIL V3 Foundation
-
3+ years experience implementing Help Desk or ITSM software packages including
technical skills associated with installing, configuring and customizing these
packages.

3+ years experience with Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.

2+ years experience managing your own projects and interacting directly with
the customer

Experience with at least one Helpdesk or ITSM products from one of these vendors:
- BMC
- CA
- HP
- iET Solutions
- FrontRange Solutions
- ServiceNow.com

Good communication and writing skills
-
Interested in learning new technologies and industry best practices.

Can-do attitude
Definite Pluses
- Experience in small company or start-up environment.
- Experience with ITSM tools from other vendors not listed above.
Location
Preferably in the Greater Boston area but willing to consider the right
candidate from any US/Canada location. If not in the Greater Boston area,
candidates may work remotely. Local candidates may work from home on a
part-time basis. Candidate may be required to travel up to 50% of the time.
