ITIL / ITSM Master Instructor & Senior Process Consultant

The position we are recruiting for is that of an ITIL / ITSM Master instructor & senior Process Consultant. This position will be responsible for developing and delivering ITIL / IT Service Management (ITSM) education and process consulting engagements. This is a senior position within our organization, requiring interaction our customers’ senior executives, and will be a major contributor to our success.

Compensation for this position includes a base salary plus a revenue / performance based bonus program as well as a full benefits package

Responsibilities

  • Deliver formal ITIL certification courses
  • Deliver Third Sky non-certification ITSM courses and workshops
  • Conduct process maturity assessments and lead Roadmap definition engagements
  • Assist customers with business process design and advise customers of best practices
  • Provide project management skills to client engagements
  • Support the sales process through participation in client discovery sessions
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5-7 years practical IT experience (i.e. working in one or more IT departments or consulting to IT management)
  • 3-5 years demonstrated experience delivering instructor-led classroom training
  • Must have curriculum development experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent presentational skills
  • Possess one or more of the following certifications: ITIL Practitioner, Managers Certificate in IT Service Management, ISO/IEC 20000 Certified
Consultant
  • Willingness to travel in the Continental US and Canada
  • Solid understanding of process design and analysis principles
  • Familiarity with Quality Management principles
  • Good documentation skills
  • Project management skills / client management skills
Highly Desirable:
  • 3-5 years practical ITSM/ITIL experience (i.e. implemented ITIL processes in one or more organizations.)
  • Strong business process analysis and development skills with the ability to analyze business requirements, assess value/cost trade-offs, formulate solutions and guide process re-engineering.
  • Experience serving in a consulting role
  • Experience in the local or national speaking circuit
  • Recognition within the ITSM industry
Desirable:
  • Hold their PMP (Project Management Professional) certificate
  • Certification in IEC /
  • Experience with IT governance, specifically Sarbanes-Oxley compliance projects/audits
  • Experience with one or more Help Desk/Contact Management tools, such as Remedy, Magic, Peregrine's ServiceCenter, FrontRange ITSM or HEAT, etc.
  • Working knowledge of CobiT, CMMI, and SOX
