IT Services Field Sales Executive
(West Region- San Francisco)

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE SELLING ITIL EDUCATION AND PROCESS CONSULTING

Overview

This position is for both new accounts and account management sales role, and requires an understanding of the business justifications for education, consulting & technology services in Information Technology. Candidates should have a strong understanding of IT Service Management and ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library).

Compensation for this position includes a base salary plus revenue based commission program as well as a full benefits package.

Responsibilities

  • IT Consulting and Education Sales to fortune 500 clients at the 'C' and 'VP' levels. Hunter approach to Business Development.
  • Develop executive level business relationships leading to outstanding results in selling value-add consulting and training services engagements.
  • Act as an industry and subject matter expert, possessing an in depth understanding of emerging IT Service Management process and ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) frameworks.
  • Grow the business volume by aggressively identifying and closing IT Service Management, Education and Consulting Services Engagement opportunities within Fortune 500 companies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years Fortune 500 business selling experience. A minimum of 3 years of direct selling as a hunter/closer. A suitable candidate must have IT selling experience crafting value added propositions.
  • Sales of Managed Services and Professional Services resulting in multi-year contracts.
  • Demonstrate established "CXX" level customer relationships within the designated market place.
  • Demonstrate experience selling large Service deals to Fortune 500 accounts in the last 12 months.
  • Demonstrate achievement of quota 3 out of the last 4 years.
  • Additionally, the qualified candidate must be fundamentally sound in basic sales principles such as lead generation, opportunity qualification, proposal development, contract negotiation and closure; have strong presentation skills; be fluent in the business justification of Return on Investment (ROI) and have a comprehensive knowledge of the Business justification for the implementation of IT Service Management, ITIL and help desk best practice engagements.
